It’s Not Robert Novak’s Week

Poor Robert Novak really is having a horrible week.  If you don’t remember him, he’s the guy who first released the identity of former CIA operative Valerie Plame Wilson.  A well known conservative columnist, here’s an overview of how his week went from bad to worse.

More...First Novak seems to get the scoop of the week after sources close to the McCain campaign tell him that McCain will probably reveal his VP pick this week.  Although there’s still three days to the week, a day later he learned that he might have been duped.

Then today, while driving in Washington, Novak hits a pedestrian, and doesn’t realize it until he’s chased down by a bicyclist.  A mistake anybody could make, I’m sure, except for Novak’s admitted aggressive driving behavior.

Cheer up, Mr. Novak.  Maybe John McCain will have a new story for you to report tomorrow.
